What This Kit Provides

The TargetLock system mounts your MEGA Live transducer independently of your trolling motor shaft. This allows you to steer your boat or use features like Spot-Lock without losing sight of the structure or fish you are targeting.

• Directional Lock: Once you lock the sonar beam on a target, it remains fixed in that direction even as the boat moves or the trolling motor turns.

   

• Mounting Independence: Because it is mounted separately from the motor steering, you have full, unobstructed use of the trolling motor.

   

• MEGA Live Sweep: This kit enables the “Sweep” feature, which automatically scans a 120-degree area in front of the boat to help you identify fish and structure.

   

Important Compatibility Notes

• Exclusively for 60″ Shafts: This specific part number (740222-1) is engineered specifically for 60-inch shaft Ultrex and Ultrex QUEST motors.

   

• Transducer & Motor NOT Included: This kit includes the steering assembly, wireless foot pedal, mounting hardware, and cables. It does not include the MEGA Live Imaging transducer or the trolling motor itself.

   

• Control Head Compatibility: Compatible Humminbird models include all APEX and SOLIX models, as well as HELIX 8-12 G3N and HELIX 7-15 G4N units (must be a MEGA Side Imaging or MEGA Down Imaging model).

• Feature Requirements:

  • MEGA Live Sweep requires an external heading sensor (like the AS GPS HS) or a Minn Kota heading sensor paired with an i-Pilot Link/Advanced GPS motor.

  • Minn Kota Steer requires a motor with i-Pilot Link or Advanced GPS Navigation.
