DJI Flip is the first DJI drone to feature a foldable perimeter guard for Propeller*, making it ideal for aerial photography, everyday shooting, and recreational activities. At less than 249g, DJI Flip weighs about the same as an apple and fits in the palm of your hand. It features a foldable perimeter guard for Propeller, ensuring safe flight.

DJI Flip is equipped with a 1/1.3-inch sensor capable of recording HDR videos in 4K/60fps with optional 10-bit D-Log-M color format. It supports various shooting modes and offers Full HD video transmission up to 13 km** with DJI O4. DJI Flip also includes intelligent features such as FocusTrack, QuickShots, MasterShots, and Hyperlapse.

As soon as the arms are deployed, DJI Flip automatically powers on. Simply press the mode button on the side to quickly switch between intelligent shooting modes and start shooting from your hand. Flip does the rest automatically to capture impressive shots.

DJI Flip excels at both high and low altitude flights and offers stunning close tracking that makes you feel like you have your own cameraman.

DJI Flip supports palm control, mobile app control, voice control, and remote control*

*The virtual joysticks in the mobile app user interface are only used to fine-tune the drone’s position during recording or to control the drone for the return flight. They do not offer the same piloting experience as a traditional remote controller. For a professional flight control experience, you can use a traditional DJI remote controller. To ensure flight safety, the drone is limited to a maximum height of 30 meters and a maximum distance of 50 meters when used with the mobile app controls.

*After activating DJI Flip, Custom mode is set to DirectionTrack by default. The drone can connect to the DJI Fly app via Wi-Fi to select Helix or Boomerang.

“Hey Fly” – Activate the DJI Fly app with these words to activate voice control and pilot the DJI Flip with spoken flight instructions. [13] When Flip is connected to your smartphone, the app can record audio and intelligently reduce noise by automatically filtering out Propel noise. This feature allows you to record yourself for vlogs.

Effective and effortless content creation

Forgot your data cable? No worries! Once connected to your smartphone via Wi-Fi, recordings made with DJI Flip can be quickly transferred to the DJI Fly app, with transfer speeds of up to 30 MB/sec. Once the transfer is complete, you can edit the recordings directly in the app to create high-quality videos.

DJI Flip supports wind resistance up to 38 km/h (force 5) and a maximum takeoff altitude of 3000 meters.

*Wind resistance depends on the propulsion. In strong winds, slight vibrations are to be expected due to the drone’s low weight. However, the aircraft has sufficient power reserve to keep the drone stable in hover or safely return to the takeoff point. The DJI Flip automatically controls the gimbal to adjust slightly to ensure that the filming is always stable and not affected by the wind.

2. Automatic braking is only supported in Normal mode and Cinema mode, as well as during the return function. Intelligent functions (including subject tracking) do not support obstacle avoidance. If you take off from the palm of your hand, use the DJI Fly app or a remote controller, the aircraft will only automatically slow down and brake if it detects an obstacle within 1 meter. The aircraft can perform emergency braking if the tracking speed is lower than 3 m/s. However, if the tracking speed is 3 m/s or higher, the braking distance may be insufficient and the aircraft may collide with the obstacle.
