Humminbird Mega 360 Imaging Transducer

Humminbird MEGA 360 Imaging® transducer is a specialized sonar system that provides a 360-degree, detail-rich view around your boat. It acts like “underwater radar,” constantly updating with your boat at the center, allowing you to see fish, structure, and the bottom in high-definition MEGA Imaging® clarity—even while you are stationary or utilizing features like Spot-Lock™.

How It Works

• Independent Mounting: Unlike standard transducers attached to the trolling motor housing, the MEGA 360 is mounted independently of the trolling motor’s steering. This means your sonar picture remains steady and unchanged even when you rotate the motor to change direction or engage Spot-Lock.

• Imaging Modes: You can toggle between two primary operation modes:

  • MEGA 360 Imaging: The full circular sweep around your boat.

  • Side Imaging: Allows you to use the transducer as a standard MEGA Side Imaging sonar source

• Customization: You can adjust the sweep area (from a full 360° down to a targeted 10° section), sweep speed, zoom level, and color palettes to dial in your view based on your specific fishing conditions.

The MEGA 360 is part of the Humminbird One-Boat Network® and is compatible with the following series of fish finders equipped with MEGA Imaging+™:

• XPLORE Series®

Available Mounting Options

Humminbird offers several versions of the MEGA 360 transducer based on how you intend to mount it:

• MEGA 360 – Ultrex: Designed specifically to integrate with Minn Kota® Ultrex™ and Ultrex QUEST™ motors.

• MEGA 360 – Fortrex: Designed for Minn Kota® Fortrex® and Maxxum® motors.

• MEGA 360 – Universal: Includes an adjustable, billet aluminum mount (by GeigerTec) to fit virtually any boat setup.

• MEGA 360 – No Mount: A transducer with a 50-inch shaft that allows you to choose or fabricate your own custom mounting solution.

Important Considerations for Your Build

1. Network Sharing: Once connected to a compatible master unit (like a SOLIX or MEGA Imaging+ equipped HELIX), you can share the MEGA 360 view with other compatible units on your Ethernet network.

2. Setup: Ensure you have the necessary Ethernet and power cables. These kits generally include the required adapters to connect directly to either HELIX or SOLIX/APEX/XPLORE head units.

3. Minn Kota Synergy: This is designed to be used in tandem with Minn Kota motors, ensuring you can use the motor’s full capabilities (like Spot-Lock) without sacrificing your 360-degree sonar view.
